Hot tub surround and relocation.

This hot tub was basically parked in the back yard in an inconvenient location. I relocated it so that it would be adjacent to the deck, cut away some of the deck railing, built a removable 'bridge' from the deck to the tub, and then built a tub surround to allow for some privacy.

Each side of the surround is different. One side is obviously the tub entrance, another is an openable 'bar', and the two remaining sides required different slatting and angles so that bathers can't be seen from either of the two different viewpoints above the tub. The top was left open (no roof) so that there would be more of a sense of being outside. The overall angle of the side walls was created to augment the roof line of the house, and the entire surround is lighted with low voltage lighting.
